Safe Advertising

Safety is the first aspect you need to look when you advertise for your job. You should discuss safe, effective ways to advertise your services with your parents or any other responsible adult. Going door-to-door in your neighborhood may be acceptable to you and your parents. A job, which is closer to home, is usually preferable because you remain closer to home and usually the community will be known to you. Also, you save time on commuting. If you live in an apartment, you may be able to put flyers on the notice board, swimming pool area, laundry room etc. Ensure permission from the apartment manager before you do so. You could also request them to recommend you to their friends. Grow your network, seek help from your sitter friends. Ask them to recommend you the next time they get a job offer, which they can’t accept. A good babysitter is usually in demand and hence, gets a lot of babysitting offers, which can reach you.
